“I started thinking ... about the stuff we live in every day,” Scott Sternberg told the New York Times.
Sternberg is the founder, chief executive and creative director of Los Angeles-based Entireworld: a sustainable basics brand established in 2018 that’s famed for its ultra-comfy sweats.
Though Entireworld is just shy of two years old, this isn’t Sternberg’s first rodeo in the fashion industry. In fact, he stood at the helm of his first design endeavour, Band of Outsiders, from 2004 to 2015.
Ironically, Sternberg went from selling tailored jackets that cost thousands to T-shirts for only $32. And if you’re new to the Entireworld, you might be wondering why.

After expressing his negative feelings toward the fashion system’s constrictive nature, Sternberg’s idea for Entireworld bloomed out of a desire to create a more inclusive label.
At the forefront of Entireworld’s mission is cool design, durable fabric, and sustainable production, all for the best price possible.
Today, Entireworld sources fabrics and manufactures clothing in Japan, Korea and China. The factories the brand partners with meet strict standards in regards to how they treat their workers and the environment. Plus, the Entireworld team often pays visits to make sure they comply.
Pricing? All products end up selling for much less without the markup of a major retailer, since Entireworld is a direct-to-consumer company.
Factor in the high quality of the fabrics (like organic and pre-consumer recycled cotton), labor, and transport costs, Entireworld’s basics end up being worth the bang for your buck.
What people are saying
For starters, Entireworld is widely considered to be the destination for cozy basics.
Influencers are loving it. Celebrities like Kirsten Dunst, Elsa Hosk, Amy Schumer and Jenny Slate are obsessing over it.
Not to mention, Best Product’s Jennifer Hussein wrote a review of the full women’s sweatsuit this May, naming Entireworld “the loungewear brand for the effortlessly cool.”
