Everywhere You Can Score Free Bagels on National Bagel Day
There’s nothing better than starting off your morning with a freshly baked bagel and cream cheese (specifically an everything bagel with whipped cream cheese if you’re anything like me). The crispy, crunchy exterior, that doughy chew, and the tangy cream cheese are just chef’s kiss. Well this Wednesday, you’re in luck because you’ll be able to enjoy a bagel breakfast for free.
That’s right. January 15, 2025, is National Bagel Day. The holiday was originally celebrated on February 9, which coincided with National Pizza Day, but thanks to an initiative started by Thomas’ Breads in 2014, bagels finally got their own day to shine.
The circular, doughy bread was originally created in 1610 in Krakow, Poland. In the 19th and 20th centuries, Polish-Jewish immigrants brought bagels to the United States, and we’ve been hooked ever since, with over 200 million bagels sold in the U.S. every year.
To celebrate, many businesses are offering deals in honor of the holiday. Here’s where you can get a free bagel on National Bagel Day.
Bruegger’s Bagels
Visit Bruegger’s and get a free bagel and cream cheese when you join its rewards program (at participating locations only).
Einstein Bros.
Starting January 15, Einstein Bros. Rewards members can get a free egg sandwich with any purchase when you order ahead online or on the store’s app. Best part? The deal lasts for the rest of the month.
H&H Bagels
Exclusively on National Bagel Day, H&H is offering 10% off all nationwide shipping orders using the promo code BAGELDAY10. Additionally, all new H&H Rewards members who sign up on the H&H Bagels App will receive a registration gift of 100 points starting on the holiday, lasting for a week.
THB Bagelry & Deli
THB’s beloved cinna-bagel is back exclusively for National Bagel Day! Get a free cinna-bagel with cream cheese when you log in to the myTHB Rewards program.
Manhattan Bagel
While Manhattan Bagel hasn’t yet released deals for National Bagel Day at the time of publishing, last year the chain gave a free bagel and cream cheese to all customers who signed up for its eclub.
Bagel Boss
At the time of publishing, Bagel Boss hasn’t yet released deals for National Bagel Day. However, last year it offered free nationwide shipping on all online orders and a special discount on bagel and lox.
Ess-a-Bagel
While at the time of publication, Ess-a-Bagel hasn’t released any specific deals for National Bagel Day, you can order its New York style bagels on Goldbelly.
