It's an exciting time for Joanna Gaines! Hot on the heels of Christmas and New Year's, the Fixer Upper star is celebrating a huge milestone: the launch of her new Magnolia network. And we can see why she'd be emotional!

Joanna has many titles on her resume, from TV star to shop owner to best-selling author and editor-in-chief of a magazine, but coming January 5, she's adding another big one to the list: owner of a TV network!

That's right, after years of planning, Chip and Joanna Gaines are launching Magnolia network (formerly DIY Network), where viewers can watch original shows, including new episodes of Fixer Upper: Welcome Home, Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines, and more than 20 other programs.

This major milestone has Jo feeling seriously nostalgic. On a recent trip to New York City, she saw a billboard for the new network in Times Square and couldn't help but reminisce on her journey.

"Never in a million years would I have thought something like this could happen—in Times Square!

If you scroll, you'll see a picture of me the very first time I visited New York City. On that trip, something in my heart told me I would live there one day and sure enough, I moved back for an internship in television my last year in college. The irony is that while I was there, I fell in love with the small boutiques I'd frequent on the weekends—they felt the most like home to me. My dreams and passions started to shift while I lived there and when I got home, I decided to pursue a different direction. I felt so guilty for shifting gears because I had spent five years in college studying television.

When Chip and I got married in 2003, we opened up our own little boutique–Magnolia–and over the years it has evolved and grown in ways I never imagined.

Fast forward to today—I’m back working in television, we launched a streaming app for @magnolianetwork, and we’re about to launch our network on cable tv in two weeks!

It's all so surreal and a full circle moment for me and a reminder that nothing is ever wasted–we truly wouldn't be here today without your support. So thank you, thank you for helping make our wild dreams come true.✨"

Fans jumped to the comments section to show their support for Joanna. One wrote, "So incredible- thank you for sharing this aspect of your journey - also so inspiring!! Congratulations 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️," and another commented, "Goodness @joannagaines keep sharing these parts of your story! So hope-giving, so inspiring! Love watching it unfold! 💕" Another fan summed up her feelings: "Literally sitting here with chills/tears reading your words @joannagaines and because you and @chipgaines chased your dreams you are opening the doors for so many others to do that as well!!! #youaregoals ❤️."

We're so excited to follow Chip and Jo on this latest adventure!
