Fans think Taylor Swift's Golden Globes nails could be an engagement Easter egg
Taylor Swift stepped out at the Golden Globes on Sunday night, wearing a gorgeous green Gucci gown which she accessorised with two handfuls of diamond rings and a fresh manicure – featuring long, sparkly tips. This normally wouldn't be news, but it's caused fans to start theorising due to one of two things, Taylor has typically worn her nails short and her nail art often includes Easter eggs.
And considering long nails were featured in Tay's Reputation era (next up on the Taylor's Version docket), things are being read into! That and a caszh engagement rumour... wow.
As TikToker @glorioussunrise put it, "Guys, her nails are done, like tips. That I'm gonna assume that she probably, most likely did not do herself. She never has her nails done. She never has her nails done! You might be thinking that’s an insane thing to freak out about and it means nothing.” *Proceeds to wave finger at camera*

Weird, huh! So, could this mean that the pair are secretly engaged? After all, many do get their nails done before an engagement...
Aside from this, one person in the comments accurately notes that "The nails are fire !!! I’m wondering if she’s just enjoying the time off because she can have them done? Cause on tour playing guitar she can’t really." Valid point.
However, on the other other hand, remember when Taylor wore pastel nails in her "Delicate" video and revealed they were easter eggs for Lover? She literally confirmed this to Entertainment Weekly, saying: "A specific way you can leave easter eggs is on nails... There was a specific occasion where I did a Spotify vertical video for 'Delicate' and I painted my nails the exact color tones that I wanted the next album to be. Some people picked up on it immediately, others picked up on it a few months down the line, but it made me feel nice."
