Both Miley Cyrus and Kim Kardashian have seen more than their fair share of controversies, and yet they have distinctive styles that are not at all alike. So we had to do a double-take when we saw both ladies wearing the same trendy garment — each in her own unique way.

What they wore: A black-and-white, cropped varsity jacket by Simone.

When they wore it: Kardashian, 32, sported the jacket at New York Fashion Week in September, while 20-year-old Cyrus pulled it on while shopping in West Hollywood in November.

How they styled it: The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star wore it as part of one of her many curve-hugging ensembles with ankle-strap sandals and a ponytail. Her competition rocked the jacket with a maxi skirt, her fave Chuck Taylors, and her cropped 'do.

Judge's scorecard: Somehow, Cyrus' decision to pair her rebellious look with a piece as unexpected as a floor-length skirt works. However, her opponent won't go down without a fight! Kardashian's strength is the way she's able to blend the sportswear trend into her signature style so well. So who do you think threw the knockout punch in this Fashion Faceoff?
