What item in your closet can you not live without?

Every year I buy a staple piece to add to my wardrobe’s foundation. This past year it was a neoprene jacket from Montreal designer Marie St Pierre. It’s a perfect jacket to wear to an after-work event such as a special dinner or cocktail party.

What item are you coveting most this season?

I have my eye on a metallic brocade Dries van Noten top with red silk fringe around the hem. (Editor’s note: She took the plunge and bought the top to wear to a dreamy Icelandic wedding!)

If there’s one item worth a splurge, what is it?

Accessories are my investment purchases. There’s nothing better than a standout necklace to elevate your favourite pieces. I’ve just purchased a chunky silver one from Dannijo that I’ll be wearing for years to come.

What item in your closet can you not live without?

A hybrid military-meets-moto jacket from Sacaï. From on-set to the airport to making an evening dress right for day, I live in the olive and navy one I bought a few seasons ago on TheCorner.com.

What item are you coveting most this season?

A pair fitted over-the-knee boots from Paul Andrew. They’re sexy but also extremely practical. Just add a great coat.

If there’s one item worth a splurge, what is it?

Chic comforts. A cashmere track suit (mine is Madeline Thompson).

What item in your closet can you not live without?

I’ve been keeping a pair of flat, over-the-knee boots in constant rotation. I bought them on sale at Stuart Weitzman last winter.

What item are you coveting most this season?

The perfect pair of high-waisted, flare-legged pants to channel the season’s ‘70s mood and create a legs-for-days effect.

If there’s one item worth a splurge, what is it?

A statement coat. No matter what you’re wearing, a great coat will always pull your look together.

What item in your closet can you not live without?

Any of my Rachel Comey coats. This one is on heavy rotation right now.

2. What item are you coveting most this season?

Silk shirtdresses by Rodebjer…they’re elegant, easy, and you can wear them a million different ways. They also pack down really small, so I always bring one or two when I travel.

If there’s one item worth a splurge, what is it?

I’m forever in a state of Miu Miu overload. I’m heavily infatuated with any of the new colourblock bags or the patent pumps. Just seeing either of them in my closet in the morning would be instant synapse explosion!
