It's basically never news when Halle Berry looks phenomenal because that's literally every moment of every day. It's technically also not news that Halle Berry currently has a bob—she's been sporting it for a while. But she hasn't worn her bob the way she wore it to the 2025 Oscars, and that, my friends, counts as premium beauty news. (Not news, though: she still looks so freakin' great.)
Berry arrived on the Academy Awards red carpet in one of the biggest trends of the night: a sparkling, silvery gown. The strapless Christian Siriano dress—which looks like a shattered mirror pieced together to create a sartorial masterpiece—competes with some of Berry's best Oscar getups, as does her beauty look.

Getty ImagesMakeup artist Hung Vanngo used Chanel favorites in clever ways to create a Bond-girl-inspired glow with some. “For a more cohesive makeup look, I added a touch of Chanel Joues Contraste Intense Cream-to-Powder Blush in Grenat Profond onto both the cheeks and the crease of the eyelids.”
We're especially charmed by Berry's bob, which is so flippy that it feels like it's smiling at us. Stylist David Stanwell gave the Oscar winner a deep side part, slicking it down for an almost-wet look. With about an inch left, he flipped it outward and upward for a formal-meets-playful finish.

Getty ImagesIt seems that, inevitably, all celebrity bob-havers will eventually give into the flip, and we're so glad Berry decided to do it on one of the biggest nights of the year.
