Harmonizers have been whipped into a frenzy after reports that iconic girl band Fifth Harmony is “in talks” of getting back together.

Speculation among fans about a possible reunion began after the group’s members - Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui, and Camila Cabello - sent supportive messages to Normani after the announcement of her new album Dopamine.

Among supportive emoji reactions, band member Dinah Jane wrote "there she is", with Jauregui excitedly commenting "let's gooooo".

Soon after Dopamine's announcement, Page Six reported that the band was “in talks” of collaborating, with Cabello, who left the band in 2016, joining “early conversations”.

However, according to sources who spoke to Rolling Stone, Fifth Harmony, who announced an indefinite hiatus in 2018 to focus on solo projects, will sadly not be reuniting any time soon.

The band fondly reminisced on the lasting impact of their music after a video by TikToker Noah Miller went viral, featuring fans showing their love for single 'All in My Head'.

“Fifth Harmony Renaissance??! I’m now caught up,” Ally commented on TikTok after sharing the video. “We were iconic and still are."

Lauren Jauregui added: “When the world finally realises this was a hit (we knew)."

This is not the first time Fifth Harmony has cleared up rumours they would reunite, with the band - who were placed together after members auditioned for The X Factor in 2012 - denying similar speculation in October 2023.

In a heartwarming tweet, Brooke explained that while the rumours of them reuniting weren't true, the band members' friendships were growing stronger.

“I’m thrilled to see there’s a lot of interest surrounding Fifth Harmony,” she tweeted.

“Reunion has many meanings and while there’s no official band reunion happening at the moment, some beautiful friendships and relationships are slowly reuniting in a healing and empowering way.”

We’re keeping up hope for a future Fifth Harmony comeback!
