How many times have you clicked on an article called “how to look cute this winter,” only to discover that it was written for people who live in parts of the world where winter means -2 °C weather?

As much as we’d love to walk around in cute little booties, with bare legs, that would probably result in a terrible case of frostbite.

So do Canadian women have to settle for shapeless silhouettes in order to stay warm? According to Vanessa Rose Thomas, Designer of the Toronto clothing line Jesse Rowes, that doesn’t have to be the case.

Here are her top five tips to staying warm and stylish in the middle of our chilliest winters.
