Fly found squashed between cream ‘in Morrisons dessert’
A couple were horrified after they said they found a fly in a Morrisons dessert.
Andrew Longmore described how he found the critter in a cream profiterole sundae he bought for his girlfriend, Katie Connolly, last Monday (18 October) at a store in Northfleet, Kent.
However the security officer’s partner was shocked when she saw the insect trapped between the cream and the side of the clear tub.
Mr Longmore said: “It’s just hygiene. If I wanted to buy a fly I would’ve just bought a bin bag.”
The supermarket told SWNS it has apologised to Mr Longmore.
The Independent has contacted Morrisons for comment.
