Forget Red Lobster — here are 15 of the best places for lobster in the Charlotte area

Red Lobster recently announced that it was closing nearly 100 restaurants across the United States. And while the locations in Concord, Gastonia, Matthews and Pineville aren’t among those affected, it got us thinking about the best places to find lobster in the Charlotte area.

Lobster costs have soared in the past year, leading many restaurants to revamp their menus or drop the luxury seafood staple altogether.

In the past few years, several local restaurants have switched up their lobster offerings, with delectable seafood dishes including fried lobster tails, lobster pasta and, of course, lobster rolls. So we’ve set out on a search to find the best.
