Gisele Bündchen and Her Kids Were Spotted With Her Jiujitsu Instructor Ahead of Thanksgiving

Gisele Bündchen may have to fend off another wave of rumors after spending the day before Thanksgiving in Costa Rica with jiujitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.
According to Page Six, the 43-year-old supermodel spent a “handful of days” in the tropical country with her two children, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Brady. Per reports, Benjamin, 13, and Vivian, 10, joined their mother on a trip abroad with Valente before leaving Costa Rica on the morning of Thanksgiving. In photos published by the tabloid, Bündchen and her kids can be seen finishing up a “relaxing” lunch with the martial artist on November 22, with the model dressed in black cutoff jean shorts and a bikini-style crop top. This is not the the first time Bündchen and her kids have spent time in Costa Rica with Valente. She first sparked relationship rumors when the group was spotted in November 2022, just two weeks after she announced her divorce from Brady. “[Joaquim] and his two brothers are Gisele and the kids’ martial arts teachers,” a source told People at the time. “They are not dating.”
In January, a source told People, “Gisele adores and trusts [Valente] and has been spending a lot of time with him, but I don’t think it’s a traditional dating scenario. They have a deep personal relationship, and he is a teacher to her and the kids. Whether or not it will ever become more than that rests on the table.”
Gisele Bündchen has since been seen with Valente on numerous occasions and addressed the rumors herself in an interview with Vanity Fair, published in March of this year. “I think, at this point, unfortunately, because I’m divorced, I’m sure that they’re going to try to attach me to anything,” Bündchen said. “I’m so grateful to know all of [the Valente brothers], because not only have they helped me and helped my kids, but they have become great friends, and Joaquim especially. He’s our teacher and, most importantly, he’s a person that I admire and that I trust. It’s so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy.”
