Glickles' Are The Newest TikTok Pickle Trend No One Asked For
Can we give pickles a break in 2025? They're tired. And we're tired for them. It seems like just yesterday when fried pickles were considered groundbreaking. Ah, the good ol' days.
This year though, we've seen the rise of all-things-pickle, from the sweet-meets-tangy chamoy pickle to the fried cheese-wrapped pickle (a.k.a. chickle). And guess what? The briny madness doesn't stop there. On TikTok, a new pickle trend has gone massively viral (nearly 6 million views on one video alone!), but it's leaving some users shaking their heads.
In this brief video, you can see a person making what TikTok has now dubbed a "glickle." What exactly is a glickle, you ask? Please sit down when we tell you this, but a glickle is a pickle submerged in glitter.
The video shows the TikToker dousing a jar of pickles in pink glitter (we assume it's edible glitter...?) and then stirring the sparkly concoction with a butter knife. As you can imagine, the comments section has been flooded with messages from people eager to offer their two cents.
"I dont know why but it reaminds me of american horror story," read one comment.
"My brain would convince me they are poison if someone did this to my pickles," another person commented.
Others are more impressed with how Wicked-coded the glickles are.
"Is this the wicked movie everyone is talking about," one user asked.
"IS THE WICKED PROMO???" another chimed in.
