Grab your tickets for these Whatcom County summer events before they are gone

Whatcom County is full of summer events, concerts, annual festivals and of course, The Northwest Washington Fair, some of which have limited tickets available.

Here’s your guide to Whatcom’s summer events with tickets on sale now, that you won’t want to miss:

NW Tune-Up Festival

The NW Tune-Up Festival, Bellingham’s annual bike, beer and live music festival returns to the waterfront from July 12-14. Tickets are required for the event and guests can purchase a 3-day pass for $165, a 1-day pass for $80, or a music only 1-day ticket for $59. Some events at the festival do not require a ticket, such as access to the Bellingham Makers Market and certain bike shows and concerts. The NW Tune-Up Festival is at 298 W Laurel St.

Northwest Washington Fair Concerts

The Northwest Washington Fair in Lynden runs Aug. 8-17, and is offering grandstand entertainment most nights for ticketed guests. This year’s lineup includes Ludacris, Walker Hayes, Leeland, and Chris Janson. Tickets are on sale now, although Ludacris’ concert has already sold out. Tickets can be purchased online or at the fair’s office from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at 1775 Front St. in Lynden.

Summer concerts and shows at Mount Baker Theatre

The Mount Baker Theatre has sold out multiple shows in its history, and with it’s upcoming 2024-2025 season lineup of Broadway shows, authors and concerts, it could easily sell out again. During the summer, the theatre has a variety of performers coming to its stage with tickets on sale now, such as The Decemberists, Rodney Carrington, A Mountain Bike Film Festival and Tommy Castro and The Painkillers. Tickets are available online in advance or at the theatre’s box office. Mount Baker Theatre is at 104 North Commercial St. in Bellingham.

Live music at Bellingham venues

Bellingham is also full of ticketed events including live music, improv nights, jazz groups and other performances at venues such as The Blue Room, The Shakedown and Wild Buffalo House of Music. All these venues offer tickets online in advance on their websites.

Bellingham Bells Baseball Games

The Bellingham Bells’ baseball season is in full swing, and there are many home games with limited seating throughout the summer. General admission tickets with seats in the bleachers or hillside cost $12 each. Grandstand tickets with seating at a covered area behind home plate cost $16 each. BECU dugout tickets with seats in the first and second row along first and third base cost $20 each. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the Bells Team Store at 3111 Newmarket St. in Bellingham. Joe Martin Field is at 1220 Civic Field Way in Bellingham.
