The Grammy Awards Gave Us Damn Good Memes

Besides, you know, a nearly four-hour-long runtime, we have to say—the Grammy Awards hit this year. It's pretty hard to complain about an awards ceremony that debuts a Lady Gaga single that feels ripped from The Fame Monster's glory days, gives Doechii the trophy for Best Rap Album, and ends with Beyoncé winning the night's biggest honour.

Oh, and did we mention that the Grammys pretty much declared the winner of Kendrick Lamar and Drake's beef, by way of awarding "Not Like Us" Record of the Year and Song of the Year? We also, of course, appreciated the ceremony's recognition of the firefighters who worked tirelessly to extinguish the wildfires that ravaged Los Angeles over the past few weeks—and calls to donate to relief efforts in the area.

On a lighter note, Benson Boone did a hell of a backflip and Shakira turned in one of the best performances of the night. Taylor Swift danced (somewhat awkwardly) to "Not Like Us" as Kendrick brought out the brooms. John Lennon's son dissed Drake, Jaden Smith walked onto the red carpet wearing a tiny castle on his head, and the Beatles won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance in the year 2025 (!). Some things never change, do they?
