There are perfectly good celebrity style moments, and then there are the looks that really stick with you, the ones you try desperately to recreate at home. In 'Great Outfits in Fashion History,' Fashionista editors are revisiting their all-time favorite lewks.

Claire Danes has blessed us with plenty of memorable on-screen fashion moments (who could forget her dreamy angel wings from Baz Luhrmann's "Romeo + Juliet"?), but the actor's off-screen style is just as noteworthy.

While attending the premiere of the 1998 film adaptation of "Les Misérables" in New York City, Danes wore an white turtleneck with elbow-length sleeves and a sparkling sequin skirt that still feels on-trend more than 25 years later. With a pair of silver strappy heels, the then-19-year-old stuck to the frosty color palette throughout her premiere look.

Danes kept her short blonde hair swept back, letting a few loose strands fly free to frame her face. Just as she only accessorized with a single ring, Danes stuck to a minimal makeup look, with a light wash of shimmer around her eyes and a soft flush of rosy color on her lips and cheeks.

Keep scrolling for our favorite picks to channel Danes' elegant sweater and sequin skirt combo.
