Here’s which grocery stores around Myrtle Beach, SC will be closed New Year’s Eve and Day
The new year is just around the corner and if you need some extra supplies to ring in 2025, grocery stores in Carolina Forest, Conway, Little River, Murrells Inlet, Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Island and Surfside Beach have you covered.
Whether you need grapes for good luck on New Year’s Eve or black-eyed peas for prosperity on New Year’s Day, there are plenty of stores where you can stock up at the last minute.
While all the big grocery stores in the Grand Strand are scheduled to open on New Year’s Eve, some will have limited hours.
On Dec. 31, you can shop at:
Aldi: All area locations will open at their regular times and close at 7 p.m., according to Aldi’s website.
Costo: The Myrtle Beach Costco Wholesale will be open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to the website.
Food Lion: All area locations will be open for regular business hours, a company spokesperson said.
Kroger: All locations will be open for regular store hours, according to employees.
Lowes Foods: All area locations will be open during regular business hours, according to employees.
Piggly Wiggly: Both area locations will be open for regular business hours, employees said.
Publix: All Publix stores will open at their regular times and close at 7 p.m., a company spokesperson told The Sun News.
Sam’s Club: The Myrtle Beach Sam’s Club will open at 8 a.m. for plus members and 10 a.m. for regular members, an employee said. The store will close at 6 p.m.
Walmart: All Walmart stores will be open for regular store hours, a company spokesperson told The Sun News.
Aldi, Costco and Sam’s Club will be closed for New Year’s Day, but lots of other major grocery chains will be open.
