Guy Fieri is known to many for his outrageous spiky hair, over-the-top recipes, and larger-than-life personality, but for fans at a recent concert, they got to see a completely different side of the celebrity chef.
The crowd at a 3 Doors Down concert this week got more than they expected when Fieri graced the stage mid-performance. During the band's show in Boca Raton, Florida, they were preparing to perform their 2002 record, "I Feel You," when Fieri strutted on stage with a guitar in hand.
In an Instagram post shared the day after the show, he revealed that he was filling in for 3 Doors Downs' Chet Roberts during his surprise cameo. He also shared footage from his appearance.
"I swapped in for @chet3doorsdown last night at the @3doorsdown concert Bahaha. Had a blast, thanks for havin’ me!!" Fieri wrote in a caption.
In his own Instagram post, Roberts referred to Fieri as his "long lost twin" and revealed that his appearance was a surprise to band members as well.
While Fieri appearing during "I Feel You" was likely a shocker for fans, it looks like the chef definitely passed the vibe check. Even band member Brad Arnold approved, writing "That was great!! It was awesome havin’ you fellas!!"
Fans were equally obsessed with Fieri's on-stage stunt.
"Was a blast so fun watching you guys," one user commented.
"The ultimate cross over! I'm getting this as a tattoo," said another dedicated fan.
