Gwyneth Paltrow and Apple Martin Went Full Doppelgänger With Matching Hairstyles on Thanksgiving

Gwyneth Paltrow and Apple Martin are never beating those doppelgänger pronouncements.

On November 24, the mother-daughter look-alikes leaned into their matchy-matchy sides by rocking the same half-up hairstyle, which over-30s may remember wearing to class every day in 2008. Of course, the 19-year-old updated the look for 2023 with her face-framing curtain bangs. She also added some loose waves to her blonde hair, while Paltrow's remained nearly pin-straight.

Though the pair did not match silhouettes, the women rolled up to their family Thanksgiving festivities in funereal black, and topped off their looks with matching black satin bows fastened to their hair. In photos shared on Paltrow's timeline, the 51-year-old Oscar-winning actor can be seen styling a ’90s-inspired spaghetti-strap dress with a single string of pearls and minimal makeup while her daughter opted for what appears to be a velvet turtleneck dress and gold hoops.

“I didn't cook this but it looks like I did,” Paltrow joked in another photo of her standing in front of their Thanksgiving food table.

Apple Martin is the 19-year-old daughter of ex–power couple Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. The duo, who “consciously uncoupled” in 2014, also share a 17-year-old son, Moses Martin. “I think Moses got his deliberation from me, and Apple, her sense of humor,“ Paltrow told Vogue during a recent round of “73 Questions.”

Since moving on with different partners, Paltrow and the 46-year-old Coldplay front man have remained on good terms; she even gets along famously with Martin's girlfriend, Dakota Johnson. “We’re actually very good friends,” she recently told fans during one of her signature Instagram Story Q+A sessions. “I love her so much. She’s an adorable, wonderful person.”

Now, that's a family Thanksgiving I'd definitely want to crash.
