Gwyneth Paltrow is taking another spin as a furniture and decor designer with the launch of her second CB2 collaboration today. This goop x CB2 assortment  follows her best-selling debut collection from 2018, which launched the Insta-famous Bouclé Swivel Chairs.

Make no mistake about it, though — you’ll find more blockbuster pieces in this 25-item-strong capsule, which spans the categories of furniture, lighting, and tabletop. With modern Parisian architecture and mid-century Italian modernism as reference points, Paltrow and the CB2 design team married classic silhouettes with modern refinement, thanks to a handful of special materials and intricate details. “We leaned into complex materiality — plaster, shearling, lacquer — for a collection that is as elegant and grown-up as it is daring,” Paltrow says in a press release about the collection.

Take the Claude Bar, for example, which was inspired by one of Paltrow’s own cabinets. With this piece you’ll find warm American oak crowned with a thick slab of dramatically veined white Dover marble, which mingles with an unlacquered brass base and door pulls. Or the Mylene Sofa, which emphasizes its gently curving lines with contrasting navy welting. Every upholstered piece features custom engraved brass monograms unique to the collection, and the Nadine Club Chair, the first piece designed for the assortment, is sure to be a hit with its Italian Arabescato marble legs and offering of shearling, faux mohair, and bouclé upholstery (note: The bouclé comes with wooden legs).

The entertaining pieces don’t disappoint, either. The Nomie Glassware features impossibly thin walls and striking etchings, while the Cremieux Dinnerware bears an interesting octagonal shape that elevates it from the category of simple white china.

Then there’s the lighting, which is like jewelry for the home. The Augustine Bulb Chandeliers are another standout. Pairing milky glass globes with rose gold cording, they can be adjusted and configured to best suit your space.

Pricing starts at $15.95 for salad plates and goes up to several thousands for large sectional sofas. The collection is available exclusively at CB2 online and in stores, though some of the tabletop items can also be purchased at goop.com and in goop stores.
