If you're hoping to take your fitness routine to the next level, Hailey Bieber's recent workout has all the inspiration you need.
Following a recent sweat session, celebrity trainer Liana Levi shared a snap of the 25-year-old model (which Bieber then reposted) using an assortment of ankle weights — and we're nothing short of impressed.
Bieber was seen rocking a set of five-pound ankle weight, plus a pair of the popular two-pound Bala Bangles to add resistance to her Forma Pilates workout.
"She's beauty and she's grace...she's got the strongest booty in the game," Levi captioned the photo.
Available in both one and two-pound weights, the Bala Bangles have become somewhat of an internet sensation thanks to their colourful and versatile design. Stars like Reese Witherspoon and Selena Gomez are also fans.
A chic upgrade to the standard set of fitness equipment, Bala Bangles are the modern alternative to bulky sand-filled weights. They feature weighted bars attached to an elastic band, which velcros into place on your wrists or ankles to use while performing pretty much any exercise you like.
Although Bieber's exact shade of sunny yellow bangles have since sold out, you can still shop them in a range of other fun colours, starting at $65 CAD/$55 USD.

After spotting them online in late 2020, I decided to pull the trigger on the celeb-approved fitness equipment and see how the Bala Bangles fare in real life.
I've since been incorporating them into a range of at-home workouts, so read on to see whether or not they truly live up to the hype.
First impressions
I ordered the one-pound weights in Blush (like any good millennial would) and was happy to find that these weighted bands were just as stunning in person as they are online. It’s rare to find fitness equipment that genuinely looks good, and while it may not matter to some people, I’m a firm believer that if something is enjoyable to look at, there’s a much higher chance that I’ll actually end up using it.
The bands’ silicone exterior is super soft to the touch, and the elastic easily stretched to fit both my wrists and my ankles when I first tried them on. It did take a little trial and error to find the best placement, but once I arranged the weighted bars evenly and found the happy medium between too loose and too snug, I was ready to put them to use.
At just one pound each, I wasn’t sure that I would notice much of a difference in my workouts while wearing the Bala Bangles. Boy, was I wrong. Five minutes into a lower body routine, I was already feeling a burn that was way more intense than even the toughest instructors could inflict without them.
My upper body also got a huge boost from wearing these bangles during a yoga flow, and I've also experimented with using them during Peloton workouts that call for a set of light weights.
The verdict
Since I’m usually not one to opt for a high intensity workout like running or boxing, finding ways to make workouts more challenging while still remaining fun can be tough. Luckily, the Bala Bangles have been a great way to change things up for me, while also upping the difficulty of tried-and-true workouts.
I’d wholly recommend adding the Bala Bangles to any lower-impact activity, from hikes to yoga to pilates for an extra oomph that still leaves your hands free. However, I wouldn’t recommend these bands for things like running or HIIT workouts, since they do move around when in use and could cause a distraction.
They certainly live up to their near perfect 4.8 star rating, and are a great addition to any home gym, especially if you’re short on space. The price is a little steep considering there are plenty of more affordable ankle weights available, but I'm certainly glad I splurged on these versatile — and pretty! — alternatives,
