Hailey Bieber shares heartwarming tribute to husband Justin on his 28th birthday
Hailey Bieber is celebrating husband Justin Bieber's 28th birthday.
The 25-year-old model took to Instagram on Tuesday to wish her husband a happy birthday, posting a carousel of photos and clips paired with heartwarming message to the singer.
"Happy birthday, my baby," she wrote. "There are a lot of amazing and beautiful things about this life, but the most beautiful part is that I get to live it with you. I love you. Here’s to 28."
Despite getting married when the model was just 21 and the singer 24, the couple has said they're determined to make their relationship work.
In a 2021 episode of the podcast "In Good Faith with Chelsea & Judah Smith," the singer said he knew he needed to do serious work on himself before he would get married.
"I had experienced so many things in my life. So many milestones and traveled the world and seen everywhere in the world. And I just got to a place where I was lonely, and I just didn't want to do it all alone," he said. "I realized there was some serious healing I needed to go through in order to get to a place where I could be in a healthy, serious relationship because I had a lot of trauma and scars. So I just committed to working on those things and getting healthy."
Bieber agreed that although she knew her husband-to-be had flaws, she would stand by him through thick and thin.
"I was in it. I made a decision. I know for a fact that I've loved this person for a very long time and now would not be the time to give up on him. I just wouldn't do that to him," she said. "Imagine abandoning somebody in the middle of the worst time of their life, potentially. I'm not that type of a person. So I was going to stick it out no matter what the outcome was going to be."
