The Hair Bow Trend Is Dominating Paris Spring Couture Week
Big ones, small ones, sleek ones, and shiny ones.
Bows have stolen the show as of late, both on the fashion and beauty fronts. Blame it on the rise of the coquette aesthetic or celebrity red carpet appearances—either way, it's safe to say they're truly everywhere right now. And according to Spring Couture Week 2024, the trend isn't fading anytime soon; Jennifer Lopez was spotted not once but twice on the same day sporting a bow and guests flocked to preview Virginie Viard's latest collection wearing the quintessential Chanel accessory. Ahead, see some of our favorite hair bow looks straight from Paris.
At Fendi Haute Couture
Valentina Ferragni, sister of Italian fashion influencer Chiara Ferragni, attended the Fendi Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2024 show with her hair half-up and topped with a black bow. (Her soft glam also deserves an honorable mention.)
At Elie Saab Haute Couture
This black off-shoulder dress lets the coordinating black bow do all the talking. We love how this guest used it to perfectly pull her hair back into a twisted style with beachy waves.
At Elie Saab Haute Couture
Jennifer Lopez arrived at Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2024 on January 24, 2024, wearing an ethereal sage green and lavender gown with a green velvet bow to match.
At Valentino Haute Couture
Later that same evening, JLo attended the Valentino Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2024 show with a black bow accenting her flippy retro half-up bob.

Bangs and bows: name a more iconic duo. Amber Anderson's look is giving French Blair Waldorf thanks to her black bow, grey jacket, pleated skirt, and tights.
At Chanel Haute Couture
Now, onto ponytails. No one does bows quite like Chanel, so there's no surprise this show was flooded with pretty ribbons adorned with dainty Double Cs.
At Zimmermann
Zimmermann is another house known for its feminine designs, and this oversized bow with gentle pleating is both soft and edgy. Paired with a denim jacket, we'd wear this look to work, brunch, or even date night.

Lace! Pearls! Bows! What else is there to even say?
At Miu Miu
This look combines three trends in one: slicked-back hair, high ponytails, and bows — it's the trifecta of style with a monochromatic 'fit to boot.
