Halle Berry Gets Fired Up in Red Stella McCartney Midi Dress for the 2024 HLTH Conference, Talks Respin: ‘Menopause Needed a Rebrand’

Halle Berry appeared and spoke onstage at the 2024 HLTH Conference on Monday in Las Vegas. The Oscar-winning actress and filmmaker discussed her menopause journey and how her brand, Respin, prioritizes women’s health and well-being.

For the occasion, Berry opted for a fiery red midi dress by Stella McCartney, featuring a rounded neckline and formfitting silhouette. The standout butterfly sleeves added a flowing element to her look, contrasting with the dress’s fitted form.
Berry opted for simple and elegant accessories, wearing black pumps and only a few dainty rings. Her look, styled by Lindsay Flores, featured understated makeup by Jorge Monroy with a neutral lip and soft smoky eye. Her hair was styled in soft waves by David Stanwell.
At the event, Berry spoke about her menopause experience and the ongoing cultural shift toward consistently addressing women’s health.
“Oh my goodness, what deserves a re-spin more than menopause? Shouldn’t we rethink everything we thought we knew about menopause? Because really what we know is pretty much nothing,” Berry said at the event.
“I realized that culture needed a shift, because when I looked up a woman in midlife, I saw an image, a Google image, that was shocking to me. The midlife woman in the image was in her 40s and was pretty much hunched over, not standing straight anymore and all the way until we’re walking along with the cane. Menopause needed a rebrand,” Berry said.
Berry is using her platform to discuss her experience with menopause and the need for further research on the particular aspect of women’s health. Last May, Berry went to Washington, D.C., to advocate for increased federal research on menopause and women’s health.
Berry meant business in a Roberto Cavalli suit, featuring an orange wax-coated notch lapel blazer and a plumage-print, long-sleeve collared blouse, paired with matching flared trousers.
