Halle Berry and boyfriend Van Hunt were among the A-list stars to attend the 2022 Critics Choice Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles, Calif. Berry arrived in style wearing a velvet suit with white corset by Dolce and Gabbana with boning detail, debuting a short new hairstyle with ice blonde highlights.

The 55-year-old actress was on-hand to receive the "See Her Award" which is given to women who push boundaries and challenge stereotypes in film. The honour follows the Oscar-winner's directorial debut in the mixed martial arts film, "Bruised."

"I've been in the business for 30 years, and I used to think that if I could play the part of a white man, then I was winning. But you know what, wanna know why that didn't work? Because, if you didn't know, I'm not a white man," Berry said while accepting the award. "So, for those roles to work, they would have to be substantially changed. It would have to be written with the reality of my journey, in all of its beauty and all of its pain."

"This is why I am so grateful to be standing and living in this moment where women are standing up and we are telling our own stories," she continued.

The star took to Instagram later that night to dedicate her award to "every person who has felt diminished, misunderstood, marginalized and discounted."

Fans quickly praised the star for her achievement and for looking "ageless."

"Congratulations. Halle! On your award, and on the fact that you haven't aged a day in the last two decades. So beautiful!" one Instagram user penned.

"You were blessed with some top-tier genetics, girl," another said. "Congratulations on the #SeeHer award. Thank you for inspiring so many women."

"Whew! Still stunning and still influencing a lot of us out here! We appreciate you!" a follower echoed.

Other fans couldn't help but draw comparisons to Berry's look as "Storm" in the 2000 film, "X-Men."

"Congratulations. I am getting Storm vibes from this hair!" one said.

"Loving the pixie cut on you, you look exactly like you did in 'X-Men.' Ageless beauty." another wrote. "Congratulations on your award. Your speech was so inspiring!
