Halle Berry dialled up the glamour last night as she attended the People's Choice Awards 2021 in a skin-tight sequinned catsuit.

The actor, 55, offered proof that you can rock a jumpsuit at any age, looking fabulous in the shimmering all-in-one.

With zips down the front and legs, the glitzy, purple one-piece also featured denim trim detailing and a low- waisted belt that circled the star's hips and gave off serious superhero vibes.

The zips at the bottom of the legs, were left open to reveal some silver, holographic, pointy heels, meanwhile the front zip was lowered to show off just enough cleavage.

It turned out to be quite the night for the Monsters Ball actor as she was called up on stage to accept the award for People's Icon.

Reflected on her successful acting journey Berry also expressed gratitude towards her fans: “The only reason I have been here for 30 years, still working and doing what I love on my own terms, redefining myself decade after decade, is because of all of you. Every single one of you.”

The 55-year-old actor went on to thank her children for their support, particularly as her professional commitments mean she doesn't get to spend as much time with them as they might like.

“My two little kids, they have to lose so much time with their mummy because I get to go work and do what I love, so thank you Nahla, thank you Maceo.

“I hope you find something in life that you can love and you can do with as much vigour and as much zest as I do what I do. I love you guys," added Berry.

The killer catsuit isn't the only badass outfit Berry has been rocking recently, earlier this week the star looked straight-up incredible in a fiery red cocktail dress to attend the fourth Annual Celebration Of Black Cinema and Television.

The fitted red dress, featured a full skirt, finishing just above the knee, and a dramatic train.

Continuing her style statements, the actor also recently turned up the elegance in a velvet-jacquard blazer and matching trousers from Veronica Beard.

Underneath the statement suit, the actor wore a plunging bodysuit with crossover, lace-up detailing and added a pair of towering black heels to finish the outfit.

While it is not unusual for Berry to look amazing, one look that has definitely entered the Berry outfits' hall of fame is the leather playsuit she wore back in May 2019.

The star donned the leather one-piece to walk the red carpet at the premiere of her movie, John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, proving once again that she is the queen of a good leather look.

Amping up the drama left the top unbuttoned to show off some serious cleavage, and she paired the look with matching black netted heels.

Berry has previously hinted at the methods she uses to seemingly defy the ageing process and maintain her youthful looks via her Instagram platform, where she regularly shares her lifestyle and health tips with her 2.8 million followers.

And turns out those killer abs are hard won.

When it comes to working out, the Monster’s Ball star details her, often gruelling, regime via her motivational #FitnessFriday posts.

In one of her posts, the actor shared that she is in the “best shape of her life.” And that’s thanks to working out five times a week.

As well as yoga, other cardio, and weights, Halle also regularly boxes.

But it isn’t just working out that Berry credits for her age-defying looks, the actress also believes meditation is key to a happier, healthier life.

“Many argue that some of the happiest people are those who spend time each day meditating. I can tell you that I’ve felt happier and more like my best self since I started,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

“I’ve learned that meditation helps to balance your left brain and right brain, and as a result I feel more creative, I can absorb information faster and I experience better emotional health.”

From gravity defying yoga poses, to the power of stillness and having fun while you’re exercising, the actress delivers a little slice of inspiration to those wanting to up their fitness, mental wellbeing and keep the ageing process at bay.
