Halloween Skittles Have Officially Arrived
The traditional Skittles that you know and love are going through a spooky transformation. As if fall hasn't already given us enough new flavors to celebrate, the fruit-flavored candies are the latest to be added to the list of snacks that have created novelty flavors this season, as they're now being sold in two limited-edition Halloween flavors.
The new flavors are Cauldron and Trick Plays. Cauldron, which was also sold last year and can be found in orange packaging, comes with a mixture of five flavors: Lurking Lemon, Petrified Pear, Twisted Tangerine, Bogey Berry, and Gripping Grape. Trick Plays, however, is exactly what it sounds like: Candy that plays tricks on your tongue. A junk food blogger known as Candy Hunting shared a photo of the treat via Instagram, writing in the caption that the colors of the candies inside the package don't match the flavors. So that means that you could eat a yellow Skittle that may or may not actually taste like lemon. If you enjoy a good mind game every now and again, then this may just be the snack for you.
Though the new candies were probably given a limited release, the blogger also noted that they were able to find the Skittles at Walgreens.
