Haribo Is Launching a First-Of-Its-Kind Gummy Mix

We all know Haribo for its classic fruity and chewy bear-shaped gummies, but this brand has been pretty playful with its more modern candy offerings.

A while back, the German candy maker presented the Scaremix with sweet and sour flavors like the blood orange cola and black cherries. It also launched its limited-edition Passport Mix featuring fan-favorite flavors and shapes found from around the globe.

Now, it has a new candy mix that’s a perfect addition to your game-day spread this football season.

Haribo Launches New Football Mix

To celebrate the start of the NFL season and the gummy brand's collab with football icons Donald Driver and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Haribo recently released its first-ever Football Mix. Available now at major retailers nationwide, this limited-edition treat features the familiar soft and chewy “double-layered" texture Haribo is known for in six different fruit flavors: pineapple, strawberry, raspberry, lemon, orange, and apple. While they may sound a lot like typical gummies, this game-day mix is filled with themed candy in the shape of football jerseys, helmets, and footballs.

"If there are two things that bring people together, it's the excitement of the world's #1 gummi along with America's #1 sport, football," Avery Jukes, senior brand manager, Haribo of America said in a recent press release. "At Haribo, we're always working to create innovative treats that excite our fans and remind them of the fun in feeling like kids again. Football Mix gives friends and families the perfect new treat to bring more childlike happiness into gameday.”

Fans showed off their excitement online when the company posted about the latest offering on its Instagram page. One said, “I NEED this asap please” while someone else added, “Let the hunt begin!” Those who have already purchased a bag let everyone know that “I got mine a couple days ago” and another said they were able to find them at Walmart.

So grab your Costco team tumbler, some sweet and smokey wings or a Saucy Nuggs party pack, plus a bag of this new Haribo mix and get ready for kickoff.
