Harley Quinn Cosplayer Looks Exactly Like Margot Robbie

We’ve seen plenty of Suicide Squad cosplaying over the past year, with a particular emphasis on the film’s breakout character Harley Quinn, played in the movie by Margot Robbie. But a new fan has taken comic-book mimicry to a whole new level, and she’s basically indistinguishable from the character and actress she’s imitating.

First flagged by Buzzfeed Australia, a 21-year-old Australian woman named Laura has posted a series of photos to Instagram in which she duplicates the look of Suicide Squad’s not-quite-right-in-the-head femme fatale — and the results are eerily stunning. She appears to have all the details of Robbie’s Debbie Harry-inspired look down, including the Daddy’s Lil’ Monster shirt, the satin red and blue jacket, the baseball bat, and the extra-short hot pants that Robbie herself wasn’t so keen on during filming. Laura has apparently always been a big fan of the DC Comics character, but only recently started cosplaying as her.

Here she is before her makeup job, looking very Robbie-esque:

It’s no surprise that she says the fan response has been positive, given that she appears to be Robbie’s doppelganger.

At least she’s cordial enough to have a few friendly words with the Dark Knight.
