Harry Potter Fans Are Going To Lose It Over Costco's Latest Product Drop
If you're hyped about fall, run to your nearest Costco because the warehouse just released the must-have item for spooky season: color-changing hot cocoa! And this ain't your average magical hot chocolate; it's part of a special Harry Potter-themed set.
The Instagram account @costcohype was one of the first to spot the spellbinding set, which will cost you just $14.99.
In addition to eight color-changing hot chocolate mixes (colors include red, blue, green, and yellow), you'll also receive two ceramic mugs, two wands, and marshmallows with your purchase of the set. And if you can bear to part ways with the collection, it would make for a great gift.
As far as taste, some people have less than rave reviews about the Harry Potter hot chocolate, unfortunately.
"It does change colors however it also tastes awful," said one person.
"It’s not cool. It’s awful. I’m a die hard potter fan and I have to warn you- do not actually drink the color change cocoa," read another grim warning.
Although @costcohype didn't reveal the exact Costco the color-changing hot cocoa was spotted at, a handful of users did chime in to reveal that they were able to nab a set in California.
This is far from the first time a Harry Potter product from Costco has gone viral. Just one year ago, HP fans went wild for a Harry Potter-themed recipe book sold at Costco. The Official Harry Potter Cookbook features over 40 recipes, including Cornelius Fudge's Fudge, Whomping Willow Soup, and The Boy Who Lived Toasties.
