Hed Mayner Displayed a Multitextured Collection for Fall 2025
For fall 2025, Israeli designer Hed Mayner continued to transform classical menswear. “For example, there is this kind of pant that creates something you recognize, like maybe a jacket,” he said.
Mayner took an actual double-breasted jacket and gave it fluid draping thanks to chains inside the garment helping make it fall a certain way.

“It creates this shape,” he said, pointing to a cascading sleeve and also to suit shoulders that fall. “So it’s this feeling of gravity, but there is a gesture inside, and movement. A certain type of attitude.”
Mayner has developed a signature style, including arching silhouettes on shoulders or pant legs. This was even more multitextured this season, as he melded knitwear, artificial leather, fake fur and flocked covered denim, among other fabrics, into his designs — to eye-catching effect.
A brown, beige, white and gray checkered blanket was morphed into a fringed cape and matching wide trousers. The roomy navy pinstripe suit came worn with a white Oxford shirt and white fake fur around the collar. Topping that off was a gray cap. A white classically tailored rain jacket was belted around an ecru scarf looped over and falling from a model’s head.
Mayner played with knitwear, such as an asymmetric gray cable sweater. “There is a lot of knitwear that looks woven, because it is washed and very compact,” said Mayner.
Chains — worn as necklaces or dangling from garments — adorned various ensembles making up this strong collection.
