The feeling you get after a snack brand has discontinued your favorite flavor—you know, the one that truly felt like it was created just for you—is unmatched. It has happened with both sweet (Pop-Tarts and Good Humor) and savory snacks (Pringles) and even breakfast foods (Cheerios), so it probably comes as no surprise to Lay’s chip lovers out there that you, too, have been a victim of flavors disappearing from the shelves.

It wasn’t that long ago when Lay’s rolled out a major campaign of new flavors titled Taste of America. These flavors paid homage to regional food favorites from across the nation, ranging from Chesapeake Crab Spice to Chile con Queso.

Unfortunately, a lot of these flavors were discontinued and people were not happy at all, taking to Reddit to express their frustrations. User ughfineiwillmakeit sounded off about their longing for the Lay’s Sweet Chili chips, which they loved because the chips “were not really [sweet], but very savory and just the perfect seasoning.”

The post got the attention of other chip lovers, some who also wished that Lay’s would bring the Sweet Chili flavor back again, and others who piped in with other missed favorites.

Redditor Deuce2ndserve proclaimed their sadness that the Southern Biscuits and Gravy are no longer around. This is completely understandable considering chicken and waffles is an iconic food pairing.

Other fan favorites that were mentioned include the Garden Tomato and Basil and the Cheesy Garlic Bread, both also inspired by classic dishes and flavor combos.

Not surprisingly, many missed flavors are from past Taste of America rollouts. Peachy-Lavender and Browsin4fun both crave Lay’s Kettle Cooked Wasabi Ginger chips, saying they “miss those every day.” Reddit user @Elycium said the BLT Sandwich chips were a summer favorite.

The good news for BLT fans is that Lay’s has brought it back as part of its Flavor That Hits Home campaign, so there’s hope that other beloved favorites may make a return in the future, too.
