Although the reviews for Allbirds are overwhelmingly positive (it's very hard to find a bad review!) there are some cons, particularly the price tag. Allbirds sneakers are pricey for Canadian shoppers, however, because they are machine washable, you get a lot of wear for your sneakers and they last a long time (read my full review). Another thing that might be an issue for some shoppers is that Allbirds doesn't offer half sizes. If you're between sizes, you might want to size up to ensure a more comfortable fit.

Editor's review of Allbirds Wool Runners

I've been an Allbirds fans for years, and the Wool Runners are by far my favourite shoe of their collection. I own several pairs in different colours and frequently reach for them whenever I go on long walks. I can't wait until it's safe to travel again because these will definitely be in my suitcase for days of exploring new cities without having tired feet.

The Wool Runners are comfy and can definitely be worn to the gym when you're lifting weights, but if you're looking for a pair of shoes for cardio or running, I'd suggest the Tree Dashers. The Tree Dashers are Allbirds first shoe specifically designed for running with a durable and very comfortable sweetfoam midsole (check out my full review here). They have a knit upper made from woven eucalyptus that allows air to penetrate to keep your foot cool while you move.

Verdict

Allbirds have been called a "dream shoe" for a reason. These versatile but sporty runners are lightweight, comfortable and are the perfect shoes for anyone who spends all day on their feet.

The Wool Runners are available in 13 different colours, including the Duff-approved white, and although the price tag may be a little high for some, the comfort they offer is unparalleled. Not only are Allbirds good for your feet, they're great for the environment, making them a purchase you can feel good about.
