Hillary Clinton Favors Subdued Elegance With Businesswear Inspiration at the Common Sense Summit on Kids and Families 2025 Conference
Hillary Clinton was among the distinguished attendees at the Common Sense Summit on Kids and Families 2025 on Monday in San Francisco. The former United States Secretary of State spoke onstage with Nadine Burke Harris, a pediatrician and the former Surgeon General of California.
Clinton opted for a look with a subdued aesthetic and businesswear inspiration. The former first lady wore a black, button-up collared shirt with long sleeves and defined cuffs in a black base fabric with an ornate pattern in gray.

The intricate pattern of Clinton’s button-up, businesswear top featured small flecks of circles and diamond shapes throughout. Clinton paired her button-up with black slacks and styled a pair of black heeled boots to complete her look.
As for her accessories, Clinton went semi-minimal. While the former secretary of state opted for understated earrings, Clinton added layers of bracelets and a watch to one of her wrists. She also wore her wedding band.
Though Clinton’s ensemble for the Common Sense Summit on Kids and Families was fairly understated, the longtime politician and philanthropist previously used her sartorial prowess to send certain messages to the public. She did so at the inauguration in Washington, D.C., last January.
While attending the event alongside husband and former President Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton wore a special Peace on Earth brooch created by jewelry designer Ann Hand. The statement-making jewelry piece featured a gold dove flying above a globe.
Common Sense Media hosted its inaugural event in 2024. The 2025 edition of the conference established national priorities on child and family wellbeing, grew its coalition of child advocates and generated cross-sector relationships progressing toward a more equitable future.
