HomeGoods’ New Viral Holiday Pillows Are Flying Off Shelves
Although the holiday season is always packed with nostalgia for me, there are some decorations that can really make me time-travel right back to childhood — like light-up Frosty statues and porcelain figurine ornaments. This year, HomeGoods is bringing back one of those unforgettable decorations: vintage-looking, tapestry-style throw pillows.
“These viral vintage inspired Christmas pillows at @homegoods did not disappoint!” Taylor from Target With Tay wrote in a recent Instagram caption. “Someone said these remind them of how Christmas used to feel and now I can’t unsee it! I love them so much!!”
“These remind me of my grandma in a nice cozy way,” one person commented on Taylor’s post. Another added, “My parents still have ones just like this from the ’90s!”
HomeGoods’ tapestry throw pillows feature various scenes that look straight out of a Christmas storybook. One of them shows Santa and his team of reindeer off to deliver presents. Another has Santa in his workshop putting the finishing touches on toys. One more depicts a quaint little snowy village with animals, kids sledding, and snowmen.
Most pillows also have decorative borders outlining the main image and solid Christmas-colored backs, so you can mix and match them with your existing holiday pillows. According to Taylor, you can grab these for just $25 each, although prices may vary depending on your location.
