My Honest Review Of Starbucks' 2024 Holiday Drink Menu
Following months of anticipation, Starbucks has officially revealed its 2024 Holiday Menu. And while fans will be disappointed to learn the coffee giant did, in fact, leave off a few fan favorites as previously speculated—including the Toasted White Chocolate, Eggnog Latte, and Gingerbread Late—the lineup is still worth celebrating.
In addition to classics like the Peppermint Mocha and Caramel Brulée Latte, Starbucks is debuting its first-ever holiday season Refresher on November 7: The Cran-Merry Orange Refresher, which can also be ordered as a Cran-Merry Orange Lemonade Refresher or the Cran-Merry Drink with coconut milk.
So...what can you expect when the menu hits store tomorrow? Here's everything on Starbucks holiday menu this year.
Cran-Merry Orange Refresher
While Starbucks' refresher lineup is typically associated with summer, this brand-new version is on theme for the season. It features sweet orange, tart cranberry, and warm spice with a cranberry base that's mixed with with water—unless you opt for the lemonade or coconut milk alterations. It's even topped with chopped cranberries for an extra festive finish.
“These beverages were very much inspired by this idea of a festive punch as a sensorial experience — the appearance, the aroma, the taste,” lead beverage developer Billy Altieri said in a statement. “We wanted to create a drink that brought all of those sensory elements together in a cup.”
Peppermint Mocha
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Starbucks is abiding by this phrase and bringing back its beloved Peppermint Mocha, which is available in hot, iced, blended or as hot chocolate.
It features Starbucks signature espresso with steamed milk, mocha sauce, and peppermint-flavored syrup. It’s topped with whipped cream and dark chocolate curls.
Caramel Brulée Latte
The rich and indulgent bevy includes Starbucks signature espresso with steamed milk, rich caramel brulée sauce, whipped cream, and a caramel brulée topping. You can get it hot, iced, or as a Frappuccino.
Chestnut Praline Latte
The Chestnut Praline Latte swirls together espresso, steamed milk, and caramelized chestnuts and spices. It’s finished with a whipped cream topping and spiced praline crumbs. Get it hot, iced, or blended.
Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte
The Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte is still one of Starbucks’ newer holiday beverages (it launched just a few years ago) and includes blonde espresso, which is a smooth and slightly sweet light roast, with ice, almond milk, and red and green sprinkles.
Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai
While you can no longer get your Gingerbread Latte fix, the Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai offers a similar experience—only elevated. It features chai spices, creamy oat milk, and ice with a nondairy gingerbread-flavored cold foam and spice topping.
New Cold Foam Toppings
Along with returning favorite, a.k.a the peppermint chocolate cold foam, Starbucks is adding Gingerbread and Salted Pecan flavors to the roster. The spicy gingerbread is sweet and blended with Starbucks signature vanilla sweet cream, while the Salted Caramel has notes of nutty pecans and brown butter. You can try the latter foam in the form of Starbucks' new Salted Pecan Crunch Cold Brew, which includes the chain's cold brew with a dash of vanilla, the Salted Pecan Cream Cold Foam, and a crunchy pecan-flavored sugar topping.
As for snacks, there are plenty of new pastries to enjoy alongside your go-to drink, including a Turkey Sage Danish, Dark Toffee Bundt, Snowman Cake Pot, and Penguin Cookie. The Sugar Plum Cheese Danish and Cranberry Bliss bar are also returning.
In addition to classic menu, Starbucks Reserve Roasteries are serving an Iced Caramel Brulée Eggnog Latte, Eggnog Espresso Martini, and Fog Nog Tea Latte at its locations across Seattle, Chicago, and New York City. The Peppermint Mocha and Peppermint Mocha Espresso Martini will also be available.
