Hostess Just Brought Back 5 Fall Favorites—Plus a Fun New Treat for Halloween

You can be the most popular house on Halloween night.

The official start of fall is just weeks away, and you don't want to miss out on this year's limited-time seasonal goods. Whether your sights are set on a giant yard skeleton or something more simple like pumpkin-spiced trash bags and fall-flavored treats, now is the time to start stocking up.

Brands are bringing back old favorites and debuting new seasonal items earlier than ever, giving us more time to surround ourselves with all the cozy goodness that represents autumn, even before the leaves start to change. Recently, Werther's Original launched a Caramel Apple flavored candy, Starbucks dropped a pumpkin-spiced lineup, and Little Debbie announced its fall collection. Now, another snack cake giant is jumping into the ring with a bundle of new offerings that will make your spooky season extra sweet.

Hostess Launches Its Fall And Halloween Lineup

In the coming weeks, shoppers will see various Hostess fall treats, including three Halloween snack cakes, return to shelves. For pumpkin lovers, Pumpkin Spice Twinkies and Iced Pumpkin Cupcakes are returning to stores. Those who love the deep, nutty flavor of maple can snag a bag of Maple Glazed Donettes featuring a soft cake doughnut covered in a light glaze.

Starting in September, three cream-filled Halloween sweet treats will hit stores, and they're perfect for those ready to get into the spooky spirit. New-this-year FrankenCakes and returning fan-favorite ScaryCakes offer a festive take on the brand's famous cupcakes, both decorated with the iconic squiggle. FrankenCakes are made with moist yellow cake and topped with green icing, while those craving something more decadent can opt for Chocolate ScaryCakes, which feature orange icing. Fans can also grab a box of Spooky Twinkies, a chocolate sponge cake version of the brand's usual offering.

Hostess is thinking big for this drop. Both fall and Halloween flavors will be available in multi-packs and larger family-sized packs, which the brand says are ideal for classroom celebrations or trick-or-treating.

Pumpkin Spice Twinkies, Iced Pumpkin Cupcakes, and Maple Glazed Donettes will be available starting in August at retailers nationwide, and the brand's spooky lineup will roll out in September, so you'll have plenty of time to stock up before Halloween.
