Huge house with five-hole putting course in backyard sold in Arizona for nearly $10 million

The grandson of a Phoenix-area auto dealer recently closed on a huge house loaded with amenities.

The coolest feature in this $9,250,000 purchase might be the five-hole putting course in the backyard.

According to a story by real estate reporter Catherine Reagor of azcentral.com/The Arizona Republic:

Derby and Danielle Earnhardt paid cash for a 7,370-square-foot Paradise Valley home. He’s the grandson of Valley auto dealer Tex Earnhardt, known for his “no bull” motto. The house on two acres comes with five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, Camelback Mountain views, 14,000 square feet of pet-friendly turf with a cooling system, a five-hole putting course and nine garages. Kim and Robert Schacter sold it. Joan Levinson of Realty ONE Group had the listing.

Paradise Valley, next door to Scottsdale, has the highest median household income ($221,333) in Arizona.

The suburb just east of Phoenix has a population of about 12,600 and according to the community profile on Paradise Valley from the Arizona Commerce Authority: "Paradise Valley is home to many CEOs, professional athletes and business owners who operate their ventures outside of Paradise Valley."
