I tried TikTok's viral makeup blending hack — and here are my results

Applying makeup is a tedious process for many, and I truly hate the process. Luckily, a viral makeup hack is making the rounds of TikTok — so I knew I had to try it out for myself.
What is this miracle makeup hack?
While it may sound strange, this makeup hack involves applying all of your products on the face at the same time, and then blending it all together — the trick is to simply use liquid or cream-based formulas for your look.
Instead of following the usual makeup routine of foundation, concealer, blush and contour, you apply these products on the desired areas of your face at once, and then use a setting spray and damp makeup sponge to seamlessly blend it all together.

TikTok user Sarah Lapierre shared a video to demonstrate how this hack works.
Does it work?
I tried this hack very skeptically as I did not think this would work — but it did. I couldn't believe how I was able to achieve the same results as before (when I used each product step by step) in less than five minutes. The result: a quick, seamless look.
I added foundation, concealer, bronzer, blush and highlighter all at one, and was quite surprised that even the highlighter managed to stay in place through all the blending.
One important aspect to note aside from exclusively using liquid or cream formulas, is to make sure that you don't forget to apply the setting spray as it made a big difference when it came to blending. All you need to do is tap the sponge to blend instead of smoothing it out all over the face.
