Regular readers of the Cosmo UK fashion section will no doubt know Ice Spice's penchant for the naked dressing trend is no secret. The artist frequently dons transparent clothing, from an explicit black studded dress to a see-through striped catsuit and a black mesh mini. All the aforementioned ensembles giving a clear look at her lingerie in the process as she flashes her teeny tiny thongs through the sheer fabric.
Yep, while knowing the contents of someone's underwear drawer may normally be considered an invasion of privacy, Ice Spice seems to happily flaunt hers on red carpets and Instagram alike. So it should perhaps come as no surprise to see her latest post on the social media platform ditched the naked dress entirely. Sharing a carousel of images, the first snap was a mirror selfie of Ice posing *just* in a bright blue underwired bra worn with a matching teeny tiny, high-leg, G-string thong.
To be honest, when your lingerie is this pretty, who needs clothes? The electric blue hue that almost verges on turquoise has been a huge spring summer colour trend in 2024, seen on the Bottega Veneta, JW Anderson and Ferragamo runways. And in turn, earning Ice's underwear set extra style points.
But, it does appear her lingerie was coordinating with a see-through lace dress, the tie-up sides of which could be glimpsed at the edge of the shot. After all, just as the see-through mesh ballet flat trend requires an immaculate pedicure, naked dressing dictates pretty lingerie a necessity.
