Inferno's Felicity Jones on Her Red Carpet Style Streak: “I Like to Feel That Va-Va-Voom”

It's official: Felicity Jones's red carpet style is on fire--and not just because she's starring in Inferno. From Berlin to Paris to Los Angeles, the Oscar-nominated actress has been pulling out all the stops with her sartorial choices as she promotes her new film and we couldn't be more inspired (or impressed).

With so many looks in such a short period of time, we wondered, how does she always manage to land the right dress for the right appearance? "It's very instinctive," Jones tells InStyle. "But it's not that far removed from anyone else who is getting ready for a night out. I usually try on at least a few options until I find the one that just feels right when you slip it on it. For a big premiere, I tend to pick something that is celebratory and dressed up because it's the first time that the film is being shown and that in and of itself is special. I like to feel that va-va-voom."

Wow factor aside, Jones says she continues to be inspired by designers who pay attention to the tiny details too. "I think of fashion as an art form," she says. "There is so much skill that goes into designing and I've always loved seeing the imagination that goes into the shows like the ones that Karl Lagerfeld creates at Chanel." Some of her other current faves include London-based designers Erdem Moralio?lu and Christopher Kane (the actress was born in the UK). And right now, she also has a soft spot for Alessandro Michele's "wonderful work" at Gucci, even choosing a navy shift dress with a twee silk bow from the fall collection for Inferno's photo call in Florence. "I still have fun with the red carpet," she says. "Especially when I love what I'm wearing."
