Inside a $5 Million Villa at the Four Seasons Resort Nevis

The dual-island nation of Saint Kitts and Nevis is flanked by some of the most gorgeous beaches in the Caribbean. The Four Seasons Resort Nevis has been offering laid-back luxury accommodations that immerse guests in the island’s natural beauty since 1991. Now, vacation-home seekers and global nomads who would like to make their stay a bit more permanent can lay claim to one of the resort’s seaside villas that’s now up for grabs for $4.9 million.

Known as Sugarbird Villa #1725, the breezy residence sits on an acre of land with a total of three bedrooms and three bathrooms, plus a powder room. The sun-drenched estate is engulfed by lush vegetation that blankets the mountainous landscape. In addition to the two-bedroom main house, a one-bedroom guest cottage provides visitors with plenty of comfort and privacy.

A wall of wood and glass doors in the great room slide open to a roomy covered patio.

A gray-and-white stucco façade accented by natural stone allows the villa to stand out against its verdant natural setting, while the interior’s exposed wood-beam ceilings are dressed up with an array of designer lighting and accessories. A view of the ocean presents itself immediately upon entering the great room, and the glass doors slide open to merge the room with a spacious covered patio.

The gourmet kitchen is flush with special features, too. A French lava stone bar-top and granite counters highlight modern appliances by Wolf, Sub Zero, and Bosch. When it’s time to have a bite, the kitchen island is one option, or head outside to the outdoor dining and grilling areas where plush outdoor furnishings help to comfortably savor the moment next to the heated vanishing-edge pool. There’s also a bocce ball court with lovely views.

Sugarbird’s upper level is where you’ll find the primary suite, with a vaulted ceiling and lots of natural light. Like the great room, it features a wide section of wood and glass doors that can be peeled back to reveal a private terrace. A large bathtub anchors the ensuite bathroom.

Other amenities across the estate include a billiards room, laundry machines, and a golf cart garage for getting to and around the resort’s 18-hole, par-71 course that, along with other amenities, is a short five-minute drive in a golf cart or about 15 minutes on foot.

Additional perks afforded homeowners are myriad hotel-like amenities such as full-service housekeeping and landscaping maintenance, 24-hour security, provisioning services that ensure the villa is fully stocked upon arrival, and a dedicated villa manager that looks after the home year-round. Becoming a member of the resort’s club requires an initiation fee, followed by annual dues.
