Inside Beyoncé and Blue Ivy's Easter celebrations at the White House

President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama hosted their annual Easter Egg Roll at the White House on Monday (Mar. 28), and while revellers were knee deep in searching for eggs, some special guests arrived in the form of Beyoncé and her daughter Blue Ivy. The mother-and-daughter duo, along with rapper Jay Z, were met with cheers when they arrived at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave for the festivities. Four-year-old Blue Ivy wore a furry white coat and bunny ears as her mom led her around the grounds, which were littered with eggs and candy.

The famous family joined 35,000 lucky members of the public who won tickets to attend the party through a lottery. The Obamas, including daughters Malia and Sasha, gathered on the property's South Lawn to celebrate their final eggstravaganza before the president leaves office in Jan. 2017. Other familiar faces roaming the crowd included NBA superstar Shaquille O'Neill and singer Monica.

Blue Ivy was treated to a special audience with characters from Sesame Street while other children got up close and personal with Stormtroopers from Star Wars. Of course it wouldn't be an Easter party without an appearance by the Easter Bunny, who hopped around the grounds mingling with guests.
