One of my favorite things about this job is the fact that I get to indulge my antiquing obsessions in the name of work, although I will admit it’s detrimental to both my wallet and my (very crowded) basement because I’m constantly introduced to things I never knew I needed. What don’t I collect? I can tell you what I do: Wool plaid blankets, faded seascapes, antique trophies, Kentucky Derby glassware, varsity team portraits, chenille varsity letters, the list goes on…

Because I know there are plenty of you who, like me, have a serious soft spot for all things old, I’m excited to introduce our new monthly e-mail newsletter, “Thrill of the Hunt: A Monthly Dispatch for Curious Collectors and the Antiques Obsessed.”

Starting in February, we’ll be devoting this new monthly newsletter to everything antiques, including new vintage finds on our radar, secret shopping resources you may not already know about, introductions to kindred collecting spirits, antiques appraisals, and assorted antiquing lessons we’ve learned along the way. My only requirement for joining us on this journey is the ability to say things like “Yes, you totally need that” and “Of course you don’t already have too many ______.”

This new monthly “Thrill of the Hunt” newsletter will be sent exclusively to our Country Living All Access subscribers. Here’s how to be sure you don’t miss out:

If you are already an All Access subscriber
, you’re all set! Just watch for the “Thrill of the Hunt” newsletter to hit your inbox each month, starting in early February.

If you are Country Living print subscriber
, it’s super easy to upgrade your current subscription status to All Access. (You’ll also immediately gain access to our each and every house tour, recipe, shopping guide, and antiques appraisal on the Country Living website, plus access to our archive of past print issues.)
