Ireland Baldwin is getting candid about her decision to undergo a cosmetic procedure called "FaceTite."

On Tuesday, the 26-year-old took to Instagram to share a "transparent" video with fans about the "minimally invasive" facial liposuction procedure, which she said was the first cosmetic procedure she's ever received.

Baldwin began by acknowledging the no-win situation that many public figures face on social media when it comes to altering their appearance.

"Either you're gonna get mad at people who aren't open and transparent about the work that they have had done to themselves, or you're gonna get mad at people for getting work done to themselves," she explained.

The model said that although it's no one's business if she decides to do cosmetic procedures, she feels a responsibility to be as honest and open as possible for "the young women" who follow her.

"I never use filters on here, I've had no other modifications done to my body or my face," she said. "Despite what everyone thinks — that I've had lip filler — I've had no lip filler in my life, I've had no filler in my face. Not that there's anything wrong with that."

Baldwin then told followers about her decision to undergo the procedure, which she said didn't require her to be put under anesthesia and was completed within an hour in her doctor's office.

"I had this very stubborn pocket of fat and extra skin under my face," she explained.

According to Baldwin, the problem area was not something diet or exercise was going to fix, and that weight gain and age have only made it worse.

"I'm a consenting adult," she said. "I don't plan on getting anything else done. I'm grateful for the body that I have. I wouldn't change anything else about myself. This is something that really, really, really bothered me and I decided to do something about it."
