Irina Shayk Reportedly Set Up Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper
Gigi was "interested and excited" when Cooper pursued her.
Just a day after sources close to Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper shared that the model and Coca-Cola enthusiast is "having fun" with her budding romance, a few more people are here to add an unexpected twist to what could be the It couple of 2023: Cooper's ex, fellow model Irina Shayk, set them up.
"Gigi was introduced to Bradley through Irina [Shayk] and their mutual friends in the industry," a source shared with The Messenger. They also explained that while the two had met before, they bonded over their daughters. "Gigi and Irina have been close over the years while working together, and Gigi and Bradley have hung out before, but it has always been friendly in social settings. Gigi and Bradley were in touch recently, and were bonding over their daughters, when Bradley asked her out."

The source continued, saying that Hadid was "excited" that the Oscar-nominated actor was pursuing her. But, like everyone else even tangentially connected to the new couple, they insisted that things are still in the beginning stages and that things are casual and fun.
"He pursued her and she was definitely interested and excited," the source noted. They also reiterated another common fun fact: Gigi wants to get into acting, something Cooper is very familiar with. "They have been casually seeing each other but it is extremely new. Gigi has expressed she does not want a serious relationship. They have a lot in common, and both relate to being parents in the industry. She wants to get into acting and is intrigued by Bradley's perspective and guidance. It is very casual at this point."
Shayk and Cooper dated from 2015 to 2019 and share a 6-year-old daughter together, Lea. Clearly, there's no bad blood between the two, especially if Shayk is facilitating a new relationship for her ex.
