Jack Harlow Serenades the YSL Beauty Crowd
Valentine’s Day arrived early at the YSL Beauty party. The brand hosted a gathering in SoHo at the start of fashion week in celebration of its Candy Glaze lip gloss, and committed to the theme.
The event space was awash in pink lighting and heart-shaped decor, with red and pink-hued lip glosses set out at every turn. On the first floor, guests could get the glosses engraved — or a piece of candy, also available for engraving — and pucker up for a lip-print reading.

But the real party was upstairs.
VIPs including Bruna Marquezine, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, Dominic Sessa, Olivia Jade, Noah Beck, Ariana Greenblatt, Sasha Calle and Precious Lee headed to the second floor, where a highly win-able claw machine game awaited, along with a small empty stage, later occupied by surprise performer Jack Harlow.
“Big shout out to YSL for having me,” said Harlow, in between performing his hits “What’s Poppin” and “First Class” for the crowd.
“Listen, I don’t know who’s here already for fashion week — unfortunately for me, I’m about to head to Vegas this weekend, but I do get a little taste of it,” he added. “So I’m hoping everyone has a great week this week. I hope everyone stays safe. I hope everybody meets somebody that they fall in love with.”
“That song is number one or something right now,” said “The Holdovers” breakout star Sessa after Harlow’s set, referring to the rapper’s opener, “Lovin on Me.” “I hear it all the time on the radio. It’s really cool to see it here in person.”
Sessa has amassed a fashion fan base since his onscreen debut in the film and recent red carpet appearances during awards season; he wore the brand for the Golden Globes last month. “It’s one of my favorite brands, I love the clothes, and [I’m] just excited to be here,” added Sessa, who recently made the front row rounds at the men’s shows in Paris.
“This brand’s amazing,” said Beck, a voice of YSL Beauty’s MYSLF fragrance. The influencer was stopping by one of the engraving stations on his way out. “It’s always nice during a hectic week of New York Fashion Week coming in here and having fun, and with performances like Jack Harlow coming in it’s always a good time. I’m about to get my initials in candy, so who else is doing that?”
