Jamie Otis is getting candid about parenting.

On Monday, the"Married At First Sight" star shared an Instagram video with her husband, Doug Hehner, about how they're choosing to raise their children.

The duo share two kids, a five-year-old daughter, Henley, and a two-year-old son, Hendrix.

The video began with the couple taking a selfie on vacation.

"POV: you're away from your kids for alone time but the minute you walk back in the door...," the on-screen text read before showing the couple being reunited with their children.

"My grandma left my mom with her babysitter and didn't go back for her for years," Otis revealed in the caption for her 850,000 followers. "When I was a child my mom left me with our neighbour first, then a friend, and after that, her ex-boyfriend."

"Once I was a teenager she just left me alone in charge to care for my younger siblings when she decided to leave again," the 36-year-old "Bachelor" alum continued.

She also assured her fans that "no matter how hectic and chaotic my kids are, I will always come back for them."

"I'm so proud to break that awful generational cycle," Otis penned, adding that she is proud of all the "mamas this Thanksgiving because it ain't easy."

Fans praised Otis for staying true to herself when it comes to parenting.

"You're such a great mom for breaking these toxic cycles and sparing your kids from the things that may have caused you trauma in your own childhood! Thank you for being so open about this and sharing!" an Instagram user commented.

Another added: "You are a great mom and the best role model for your kids."

"I’m so sorry you went through those things. You are seriously the best mom! Your kids are very lucky to have you and Doug as parents," someone else penned.

"You're doing an amazing job breaking the cycle!" a fan wrote.

In October, Otis posted another candid clip about her love of motherhood, despite facing issues with fertility.

"I have got to do something about my health in order to be able to try to grow this family," Otis said in the video, adding that she is going to prioritize relaxation and "get healthy so I can support a pregnancy."

"When you want to grow your family and you already have two children — the thing I hate the most is when people say 'enjoy what you have.' I am enjoying what I have. I enjoy it so much I want more," she pointed out, defending her choice to try for a third child.

"I know we're supposed to have more and I feel like we're gonna have more," she added. "We're gonna focus and get this thing done."
