Jamie Otis is opening up about her "midlife identity crisis."

On Thursday, the 36-year-old reality TV star posted a video on Instagram, giving her fans an honest update on her mental health.

“My therapist told me I’m having a midlife identity crisis. She’s not wrong. I’ve definitely lost myself since becoming a wife and mommy. And moving us across the country probably hasn’t help,” she wrote in the caption.

"I may be a bit lost right now, but there's one thing I know for certain — I will find my way back," she continued. "I don't think anyone gets through life without having a couple meltdowns in the parking lot."

She ended the post by asking fans if they felt the same.

In the comments, Otis’s followers — and even her husband — supported her with words of encouragement.

“Just know that you are loved by us, and we see the hard work you do, especially when it comes to bettering yourself. You are never lost because Henley, Hendrix, Lady and I are wholeheartedly with you till the end, no matter what!" said "Married at First Sight" alum and husband Doug Hehner. "You are an amazing mom, such an amazing wife and friend! I love all of your identities, and I’ll be right by your side!”

“You’re doing a great job! I’ve definitely felt lost and overwhelmed. Been learning to prioritize myself so that I can take care of my family,” said another "Married at First Sight" star Amani Aliyya.

“Yes. Some days I still feel “lost.” The thing that has helped me the most, has been exercising several times a week. I read a quote a while back that said “The woman you were before you became his wife and their mom… she matters too,” a fan echoed.

“This is absolutely a normal feeling… Just do what makes you happy and forget how you think it impacts others,” said a fourth.

Otis has previously shared similar posts opening up about her mental health.

In December, she posted an Instagram Reel with a compilation of videos to end off 2022, along with a caption to other moms who have struggled with their mental health.

“For the mamas who have secretly struggled with depression and anxiety with me—2023 is gonna be the year we HEAL!” she wrote.

In the caption, she also listed ways that helped her “get some relief” during the year. From working out 30 minutes a day to finding the right therapist.

“Healing won’t happen over night so don’t be discouraged if you have days you don’t wanna shower, get outta bed, or do anything other than cry. That’s OK,” she said. “You are so loved and so worthy for a life of happiness and love.”
