January's Rare Planet Parade Will Have These 3 Signs Feeling Extra Lucky

A rare six-planet parade is predicted to align in our night sky on Jan. 21 that will not only form a fascinating display from our view on Earth but will dazzle the cosmos in a way that affects each of our zodiac signs at the same time.

Astronomically, the planetary alignment is exciting because the event is expected to be visible from nearly everywhere (weather-dependent). Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Venus and Saturn are the planets in subject.

While four planets — Mars, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn — will be visible to the naked eye, a telescope or high-powered binoculars are needed to see Neptune and Uranus, according to StarWalk.

Despite being unable to spot every planet in the parade physically, the effects of all six in alignment will be felt astrologically. "This planetary parade can aid us in manifestation," astrologer Kyle Thomas tells PEOPLE exclusively ahead of the anticipated event.

In addition, the six-planet parade can help us "harness a great deal of cosmic flow" as a result of this alignment. If a planet falls within your particular zodiac sign, Thomas says its effects will "especially" be felt in comparison to those that are not.

Since there's an ample amount of cosmic activity taking place, he makes known that there's an "extra emphasis" on Water sign energy in particular. As a result, he says it's "encouraging us to be intuitive, sensitive, receptive and go with the flow."

Thomas adds, "Our feelings, emotions and psychic abilities will be particularly active, so we must be sensitive to the flow of the universe."

Aries (March 20-April 19)

With so much Water sign energy activated at this time, Aries, Thomas says "it’s extremely important to take a step back and trust your intuition and feelings."

"As much as you’re eager to charge into new territory, it’s more beneficial to understand that the universe is flowing like a river and you must surrender to that current," he explains. "Trust your senses."

Taurus (April 19-May 20)

Pay attention, Taurus. "This is an important period for you to focus on personal and or professional aspects of your life that you want to build into abundance," says Thomas.

Since Uranus is in the lineup, he says you'll want to "focus" on this energy specifically if you want to "break ground into new territory, be a visionary and embrace your authentic self." Keep your eye on the prize!

Thomas also highlights an "extra bit of luck" in your personal life around this planetary alignment. "Be sure to embrace your community," he advises, explaining, "They could help you on your way to your next great fulfillment."

Gemini (May 20-June 20)

Jupiter will be emphasized for you, Gemini, as it will reside in your zodiac sign during the planet parade. "This means that you must embrace its energies of abundance, luck, growth and happiness," says Thomas.

If you sought life change in the past few months, he predicts this planetary parade "could set you up and help you accomplish almost anything that you wish." He adds, "You create your own luck if you take action yourself."

Cancer (June 20-July 22)

You'll feel the effects of Mars the most, Cancer. "This is because our red planet will be in your zodiac sign," says Thomas.

The energy surrounding Mars will be "prominent" for you, he makes known, like "taking action, being assertive, sex, passion, drive, power, health and war." Remember, though, Mars is in retrograde!

"You may be focusing on situations or relationships from the past that tie to all of these Mars-related themes," Thomas explains. "This is an excellent time to listen to your heart and emotions and then review the past so you can make better plans going forward."

Leo (July 22-Aug. 22)

The six-planet parade as a whole will "add extra emphasis" to your past, Leo. Thomas says it will also have an emphasis on your "sensitivity" and "connections" from years ago.

"The energy of this time is excellent for you to absorb wisdom from the universe and put yourself into a better cosmic alignment," he says. "Connect to spirituality and listen to that inner voice inside that is pushing you to embrace your truth."

Virgo (Aug. 22-Sept. 22)

Water sign energy is strong at this time, Virgo, which Thomas says "aligns so very well" for your Earth sign. "The upcoming planetary parade could bring you an opportunity to embrace more strength, affection and stability in your partnerships," he adds.

"Personally, it could be used to take the next step with a sweetheart," he says. "Professionally, it could aid in building business plans with a core collaborator or associate."

Libra (Sept. 22-Oct. 22)

Prepare for a planetary parade that adds greater emphasis to your professional life, Libra! "The best part about this is that you could see great strides in productivity, work projects or even climbing the professional ladder," says Thomas.

The key? "Really assess your strategies and set forth to make them happen," he explains.

Scorpio (Oct. 22-Nov. 21)

Lucky you, Scorpio, the cosmos are radiating Water sign energy now! "As a Water sign, yourself, you’re going to feel like your heart is in bloom," predicts Thomas.

Use this elemental energy to move toward your goals. "You'll have an added touch of luck if you’re aligning with passion, romance, children or creativity," he adds. "This is a time to live life to the fullest and take steps to embrace your most authentic heart!"

Sagittarius (Nov. 22–Dec. 21)

The moon will be in your zodiac sign at the time of the parade, Sagittarius. Whenever the moon visits your zodiac sign, Thomas says there’s a "greater focus" on your soul, your inner emotional life, feelings and domesticity.

He adds, "Many planets are also focusing on this, so you’d be advised to turn attention to the past, matters of emotions or your living space."

Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19)

As the final Earth sign on the wheel, Capricorn, Thomas says "you’ll be feeling very blessed at this time." He explains, "There’s an extra focus on friends and partnership at this time, so socializing could be exactly the way you take steps toward your personal or professional plans."

He adds, "Ask for favors from people or try to meet someone special now!"

Aquarius (Jan. 19-Feb. 18)

Pluto will be in your zodiac sign at the time of the parade, Aquarius. Although it won't be visible to the naked eye, Thomas says it will add focus on "rebirth, transformation and embracing a new era."

He adds, "You’re also going to find that there’s a need to focus on routines, your finances and how you’re building your life. You could make progress around these themes at this time."

Pisces (Feb. 18-March 20)

You hold a great deal of cosmic power at this time, Pisces! "You'll have multiple planets swimming in your deep seas," says Thomas.

As a result, he notes you’re "one of the most favored to manifest" personal and professional desires with this planetary parade. Go with the flow to make the most of this energy, but he suggests you are also "intentional in how you are building your plans."

If you start to put everything into place, Thomas predicts "you could find that that strategies you launch now lead you to great wins in the months and years to come!"
